Puri Revealing loopholes in Tollywood through 'Neninthe

Hyderabad Dec 15th :We all knew that Puri-Ravi Teja film ‘Neninthe’ is all set to release and for a change, industry people are eagerly waiting for its release than the fans. It is being rumored that the film has some dialogues which were shot keeping some big heroes and producers in mind. The director Puri, however hotly denies. He says his film is the tale of an assistant director. “The film will showcase life on Tollywood sets — from that of a producer to a director, to stars and technicians. The approach is realistic without losing the commercial touch," says the director. “There are a few potshots taken even at me, but we don’t intend to hurt anyone,” says Puri. However, the teasers being aired are full of disturbing punch lines –– an overconfident director (Brahmanandam) shouts ‘I can deliver a hit even with a dog’, while a producer (Sayaji Shinde) claims to have lost Rs 4 crore by making a film with a big star. And fans argue — ‘my star’s collection in one area is your star’s total market.’ Going by the trailers it seems like a bombshell is going to explode on screen. The crude dialogues on heroines are sure to whip up the ire of women’s organisations. However, the director insists, “It shows the industry in a positive light”.It is only few days away to see how industry reacts to his film. Will he be able to retain a couple of friends after this spoof? That's a big question. Earlier Krishna Vamsi showcased the life of a heroine in industry thro his film ‘Khadgam’ which got mixed response.
