Satyam case to CBI
Hyderabad, Feb.16:- The Home Minister, Mr K Jana Reddy, on Monday confirmed that the government has issued a GO to hand over the Satyam Computers case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Speaking to mediapersons here, Mr Jana Reddy said that the Chief Minister, Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, had already written to the Prime Minister stating that his government had no objection for a CBI probe into the Satyam Computers scam. The investigation into the Rs 7,000-crore scam was complex one and investigation by multiple institutions would only bring out real facts in it. He reminded that the scam has rocked the corporate world.
Mr Reddy said that the government had issued the GO on February 13 for CBI inquiry into the Satyam Computers scam and the same was sent to the High Court
