Love at First Sight-Vishnu-Veronica
Vishnu and Viranica's is the modern-day fairytale love story. On the eve of Valentine's Day, the actor tells us about his muse, love at first sight and marriage plans. “The minute I saw her, the whole world around me came to a standstill and I went breathless for a few moments," reminiscences Vishnu. You end up believing in fairytale romances as Vishnu recalls his first meeting with Viranica at a friend's party. The couple is now engaged and set to tie the knot on March 1. "It was like love at first sight," he asserts. They liked each other's company, and after just 10 days, as if under Cupid's spell, realised that they were made for each other. "I just knew she was my ideal partner," he reveals.
However, Viranica never dreamt of marrying an actor. "I am absolute opposite to her dream man but I think liked my personality," he smiles. But if you though their falling in love was filmy, their decision to marry was quite orthodox in contrast. "Both of us resolved to marry only with our parents' approval or else we even thought of parting ways," says the actor who refuses to believe that a 'love marriage' can happen without parents' consent. Vishnu continues the story saying, "She was the first one to get her parent's nod." But fearing his father (veteran actor Mohan Babu), he sought the help of his friends to do the job. "My mom, sister and brother knew about it but I was hesitant to approach my dad," he tells us.
His friends Sunil and Kalyan Ram were also hesitant and the former actually warned him, 'Inform your father when I am out of town!' he said" Vishnu smiles. However, he finally gathered enough courage to tell his father prior to leaving for USA in July last. "It's a serious matter, so let's discuss it later. But he gave his nod after I returned," he says. The rest, as they, is all set to he a happily-ever-after story. A lavish engagement saw the crème-de-la-crème gracing the occasion. Ask the actor what's similar or dissimilar between real-life and reel-life love and, "Real life love experience can never be expressed in words!" he signs off.
