Shriya, the 'Golden girl'!

Hyderabad Jan 27: 'Mallanna’, the Mega budget film by Susie Ganesan, has Shriya donning costume and jewellery worth Rs 4.5 crore for a song sequence, it is reported. The shooting for the Vikram-starrer is over and is all set for release.

Her costume for the scene was worth Rs.26 lakh and the jewellery, Rs.4 crore, it is reported.

Two decades ago, Aishwarya wore a saree in director K. Bhagyaraj’s ‘Rasukkutti’ worth Rs.1 lakh, which was considered unbelievably high at that time. Times have changed and how! A crore rupees spent on jewellery do not make for many a furrowed brow now.
