Laya back to India Hosting a show for ETV
Hyderabad Dec 23rd:Laya who is married to Los Angels based doctor Sri Ganesh in 2006, blessed with a baby girl Sloka. Laya who is away from movies after the marriage is now decided to step into Television. She is back in India with her daughter and will soon be hosting a unique musical show for ETV. The uniqueness of the program is that the participants in the show would be visually impaired singers.
Laya hails from a Telugu Brahmin family in Vijayawada and professional Kuchipudi dancer. She performed more than 50 stage shows and acted in about 40 Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films before getting married and immigrating to the USA.
She acted as visually impaired person in one of her movies and got rave reviews for her performance.It is good too see Laya hosting a show for visually impaired persons.
