Sathyaraj in Tollywood after 27 years acting as father to Gopichand

Hyderabad Jan 10 :Twenty seven years after doing small roles in Telugu films, Sathyaraj, one of the most talented and prolific actors of Tamil fims, will be seen again in a Telugu film, this time in a prominent role! Recently, Telugu film director Shiva offered Sathyaraj the role of Gopichand’s father in his upcoming film. Appreciating the potential of the role, Sathyaraj promptly accepted. Speaking about this, Sathyaraj said he is excited to act in a Telugu film after such a long gap, recalling that he played sidekick to villains or roles of lesser importance in the days when Shobhana Babu and Suman were heroes. Sathyaraj added that the role offered now is of great importance and he will gain prominence in Andhra Pradesh with it.
