Sahajanati "Jayasudha" turns 51
Hyderabad Dec 17th :Popular actress Jayasudha turns 51 today on 17th December. She’s known as Sahajanati in the industry. Every year she celebrates her birthday with children, physically challenged persons, orphans and aged people.
Jayasudha who debuted to Telugu silver screen through 'Pandunti Kaapuram' at the age of 12, has also acted in several Tamil films like 'Arangettram', 'Apoorva Raagangal'. Her first film as a heroine in Telugu is 'Lakshmana Rekha'. Her title role in 'Jyothi' (1975) escalated her to the image of a star heroine. During her lengthy career in acting, she has done a wide rage of demeanors, performing with ease to the point of excellence.
Interestingly, as she was born in Madras (Chennai), she knew only English and Tamil, and lacked potential knowledge to read or write Telugu. But the trivial issue didn’t hinder the artist as she enacted over 225 films in Telugu.
'Jyothi', 'Idi Katha Kadu' (opp Kamal Hassan), 'Illalu', 'Adavi Ramudu' (opp NTR), 'Premabhishekam' (opp ANR), 'Jayasudha', 'Sivaranjani', 'Meghasandesahm' (opp ANR) are her best of times in the yesteryear.
