Nayantara Banned from Acting
Nayantara, one of the top heroines of South India has been banned by Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) and the powerful South Indian Film Artists Association (Nadigar Sangam) from acting in any further Tamil movies.
According to the Joint statement of TFPC and Nadigar Sangam, both the organizations were forced to put a ban on Nayantara for refusing to pay back the producer and director Lingusamy, the signing amount which he had paid for the Tamil movie Paiyya.
The TFPC and Nadigar Sangam have made it clear to its members, the producers not to sign her for any future films. In their statement they have requested the producers' association in other languages mainly Telugu and Malayalam also to cooperate with them and not to sign Nayantara for any films.
Even though shocked by this ban, Nayantara has made it clear that she would face the ban in her way!
