Raju owns 1, 100 acres in just 4 villages of Greater Hyderabad

HYDERABAD Feb 6 : It is now getting mind boggling the land deals of Ramalinga Raju, his family members and the companies promoted by them. Raju entities
aggregatively bought a staggering 1,100 acres of land in four villages Kompally, Pochampally, Bachupally and Jeedimetla in the Medchal area of Greater Hyderabad.

Nearly 250 Raju companies and individuals purchased this land in 628 transactions that took place in the 13 years between 1995-2008. In addition there were 120 more transactions by Maytas group companies.

This information was collated by the Stamps and Registrations department after the Crime Investigation Department (CID) and Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) sought complete information of land transactions by the Raju companies.

While 77 of these transactions were on Ramalinga Raju's name, his absconding brother Suryanarayana Raju made 81 transactions. Ramalinga Raju's wife Nandini Raju had 23 deals representing various companies and there were another 13 on her name.

The other transactions include 73 of B Appala Narasamma (Ramalinga Raju's mother), nine of B Rama Raju, 44 of I Mallaparaju, 30 of C Srinivasa Raju, six of M Hari Prasad Raju and two of B Radha.

Ramalinga Raju's transactions were made mostly in 1998 when he bought land and developed them through his companies. "Most of the transactions were pertaining to selling of land, apartments and villas in Kompally, Bachupally, Pochampally and Jeedimetla,'' an official revealed. The companies also made several transactions for selling the land, apartments and villas in the last five years.

Officials said for instance 79 transactions were recorded on the name of Manas Greenlands Pvt Ltd, 93 deals on the name of Nallamala Agro Farms and Chandrabhaga Agro Farms, 74 transactions jointly on the name of Pothara Agro Farms and Hugli Greenlands Pvt Ltd.
